It is no secret that schools in different parts of New York are funded in different ways. We must make adjustments to school funding formulas, and meet the critical Foundation Aid funding thresholds for New York City schools. Until then, we need creative solutions to ensure the needs of our students are met.

We have a responsibility to ensure our students get access to the resources they need in order to get the education they deserve. This program would bring resources into the classrooms that need them most until we can get politics out of school funding.
